Your recordbook

How do I make a backup?

In the app, open Settings → Create backup. Save the package using Files. Keep a copy somewhere other than this iPhone, such as your own iCloud Drive. Export again after important changes.

How do I restore my records?

Choose Restore from Files during setup or in Settings. Select your recordbook backup, review its contents, and confirm. Restore replaces the active recordbook; the previous local copy is available under Recover previous recordbook. Restoring purchases does not restore dog records.

Why do imported photos look different from my originals?

Journal imports are resized to a maximum 2,048-pixel edge and converted to JPEG without source metadata. The app keeps an unfiltered imported copy for changing photo looks. Keep your full-resolution originals in your photo library.

How do I show or hide Litters?

Open Settings → Navigation → Show Litters tab. This changes your navigation only and does not start or cancel a subscription. Existing litter journals remain accessible from Settings.

Where do I manage or restore a subscription?

Use Restore purchases or Manage subscription in the app’s Settings. Apple handles billing. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase. Existing dog records and backups remain available when a subscription ends.

Why am I not getting reminders?

Check the app’s Reminders section and your iPhone notification settings. Confirm that the appointment or care follow-up has a future date. Open the app to refresh upcoming notifications.

Describe what happened and what you expected. This tool only prepares text on your device. It does not upload anything or save a draft. Leave out private care notes, photos and passwords.
