Good habits
- Keep the packaging or a photo of it until the next treatment, so you can check the product name and the interval on the label.
- Write who gave it, especially when a sitter, kennel or family member helps.
- Take the log to your vet, who can confirm what your dog needs and when.

Questions people ask
Which flea, tick or worming product should my dog have, and how often?
Ask your vet. The interval is on the product label and depends on the product and your dog. This log doesn’t recommend products or schedules.
Is worming the same as deworming?
Yes. “Worming” is the usual word in the UK and “deworming” in the US.
Do kennels ask for these dates?
Many do. In England, licensed boarding kennels must record the date of each dog’s most recent worming and flea treatment.
Should I log heartworm prevention too?
If your vet has prescribed it, yes. There is a row and a column for it.
Is anything I type saved or sent?
